Punter – Drew Butler (2008-2011)

This one isn’t even close. The son of legendary Georgia kicker Kevin, the younger Butler was a huge part of the Georgia special teams.

Drew Butler owns so many Georgia and SEC records, it’s hard to keep up, including net punting average for a season (41.9), career punting average (45.4), and season punting average (48.1). Butler’s ability to pin the other team back was crucial, and helped keep the Bulldogs in a lot of games.

Butler went on to play in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, and is now on the Arizona Cardinals roster.
