The Georgia recruiting class of 2016 got a big win today with a commitment from 4-star offensive tackle E.J. Price out of Archer H.S. in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Price confirmed his commitment to the Bulldogs on Twitter:
The 6’6, 310-pound tackle is rated as the No. 9 player in the state of Georgia, the No. 10 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 77 nationally ranked player according to 247 Sports composite rankings. This will make for quite an impressive duo of tackles combined with 5-star offensive tackle Ben Cleveland who has also committed to Georgia for 2016.
Scouts have noted Price’s strength and his good use of hands in pass-blocking as two of his biggest assets, and he and Cleveland will have another huge asset to protect in national No. 1 overall player, QB Jacob Eason.

Georgia’s 2016 recruiting class, which now contains three offensive linemen, is now ranked 7th nationally by 247 Sports, moving up one spot past Clemson after Price’s commitment.
The Bulldogs are on their way to what could be a banner recruiting class, although they have yet to secure a commitment from any running backs, quite an odd development for a Mark Richt class. There is still a long way to go until next February, when National Signing Day once again will have a lot of great players headed towards Athens.
