The Georgia recruiting class of 2016 is already a top ten class, and if Mark Richt can add another 5-star defensive player, it could snowball into something amazing.

This could be big news coming out of Athens, as 247 Sports is reporting that 5-star defensive tackle Julian Rochester (Powder Springs, Ga./McEachern) is close to announcing a decision for his commitment, and the Bulldogs are trending heavily and looking like the team who could land him.
For a 2016 class that’s already rated as the No. 6 overall in the nation, adding Rochester would not only boost that number, but could mean even more top players migrating over to Georgia as the year progresses. This could be huge if it happens.
The 6-foot-5, 315 pound tackle is one of the most coveted defensive players in the nation, ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Georgia, the No. 3 defensive tackle in the nation and the No. 11 overall player in the nation by 247 Sports composite rankings.
Adding another 5-star talent along with the stellar defensive class joining the team in 2015 would set the Bulldogs up to be a dominating defensive unit for several years to come.

Looks like Mr. Rochester looks quite comfortable with Mark Richt. He’d look outstanding in red and black. #CommitToTheG
