Kirby Smart is now the man in charge of the Georgia football team.

Smart formerly served as Alabama’s defensive coordinator for several years and helped Nick Saban build the nation’s premier program. His resume is unheard of for a first-year head coach, which has Bulldogs fans buzzing.

They proved their excitement by packing Sanford Stadium for this year’s G-Day spring scrimmage. The stadium was overfull, and it was quite a spectacle.

In Kirby Smart All Access, fans are promised an inside look at the preparations for the largest G-Day ever, along with other footage of Georgia football’s spring practices. These types of specials have become commonplace and Georgia was featured in one for last year’s SEC Network Takeover, but the first one featuring Smart is intriguing.

Will we learn more about his personality? What about his coaching style?

We won’t come away knowing everything about the team, but this program should further foster a connection with Smart and the fan base. It isn’t often that people outside the program get a stripped-down look at college teams.

Kirby Smart All Access will kick off Georgia’s SEC Network Takeover at midnight, then air again at 8 p.m.
