It was not a successful few days for Georgia baseball against rival Florida.

The week started great for Georgia Baseball as they clinched the season series with Georgia Tech, beating them 7-5 on Tuesday. But the Florida Gators came to Athens and swept the Dawgs. Georgia is now 17-28 (5-16 SEC).
Game 1
Georgia blew a 4-3 9th inning lead to lose 6-4 to the Florida Gators. The 9th inning saw a lot of walks in the 9th inning and ended up being the downfall for UGA.
Garrett Minchin got the win in relief for Florida. He threw only 1.1 innings but gave up nothing. Christian Hicks had a great day for the Gators going 3-4 with 2 RBIs.
Justin Glover received the loss on the mound in a relief role. He only pitched 0.2 innings and gave up 2 runs. Tucker Bradley was 3-5 with an RBI.
Game 2

Another blown lead for UGA as a 5 run 7th inning leads Florida to a 6-3 win over UGA.
Brady Singer threw 8 innings, gave up 3 runs, 10 hits, and struck out 5, in his winning outing. Austin Langworthy went 3-5 with 2 RBIs.
Chase Adkins got the loss for UGA. He threw 6 innings, gave up 4 runs, and struck out 3. Tucker Bradley once again went 3-5.
Game 3
Florida survived a late push from Georgia to win 4-3 and sweep the Dawgs. Georgia scored 3 runs in the 8th to make it interesting.
Jackson Kowar gave up 3 runs in 7 innings pitched but got the win for the Gators. JJ Schwarz went 3-4 with a 2 run homerun in the 2nd inning.
Kevin Smith got the loss for the Dawgs. He threw 5 innings, gave up 4 runs, and struck out 6. Cam Sheppard went 1-5 with 2 RBI.
