Alongside the camps starting, this past week saw UGA picking up 3 2018 commitments. It started on Wednesday when OLB/DE Jaevon Becton out of Virginia committed to Georgia. It was followed on Friday evening when 4-star OL Warren Ericson and 2-star DB Richard Wildgoose Jr. also made their announcements.

This takes the Georgia Bulldogs to 5 commitments at the moment for the 2018 class at the moment. Most of their targets are still out there and uncommitted. What they have started to do is build some lower end depth in their class. Wildgoose is likely underrated as a prospect based off the high level offers he had. Ericson is a legit OL prospect who will have plenty of time to develop with the talent already in Athens.

Becton might be the most interesting prospect here. He’s a natural athlete who jumps off the film when you watch him. We’ll do a bit more diving into each of these players during the week.
