While most the 2017 UGA recruiting class arrived in Athens a few weeks ago, there were three members of it who needed a bit more time to get to Athens. Offensive Guard Netori Johnson was one of the three. However, he will not be waiting much longer as he was cleared to start classed in July.

Johnson has actually been in Athens for a few weeks training with his new teamates but has been waiting on the NCAA to clear him to start classes at school. Bob Miller at Bulldog Illustrated reported that hurdle was cleared this week. He can now start classes in July and fully begin his time at the University. Johnson was the highest ranked guard in the 2017 class. He’s a really exciting player who looks like he’s capable of starting at some point this season.

The two other players from the class still waiting for clearance from the NCAA are DE Robert Beal and DT DeVonte Wyatt. They still have two more months to clear everything to be able to start in the fall so there is plenty of time.
