What do they do well:

Lamb was electric in 2015 but his play dipped last year as his touchdown number nearly halved. However, he has thrown 63 touchdowns in the last three years compared to 26 interceptions. While he doesn’t throw for a tonne of yardage, he averages 185 yards a game and completed more than 61% of his passes. In short, he’s efficient and that’s all they need because of what else they do.

That’s because where they make their money however is their ground game. They have 3 RB’s who averaged better than 5.6 yards a rush and Lamb himself is a decent runner. Jalin Moore is one of the Sun Belt’s top RB’s. The rising Jr rushed for over 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Running is key for them as a whole. Since 2014, the team is 23-1 when they have rushed for more than 200 yards. The goal for Georgia will be simple, stop the run, stop App State. This will be a big test for the dawgs and their much vaunted defense. There are some big expectations for UGA on that side of the ball. The first game of a season will be a big test for them.
