A launching pad?

Winning against Notre Dame could very well serve as a launchpad for the Georgia program for the rest of 2017 and beyond. A win in this game would give the Dawgs a victory over a perennial college football blue blood and could give the momentum the team needs before it begins SEC play next season.

Furthermore, a win against Notre Dame in a hostile environment on the road could give some key players, particularly quarterback Jacob Eason, a huge boost of confidence to take with them down the road. Notre Dame went 4-8 last season, yes.

But if the Dawgs take care of their business in South Bend, the team will certainly be talked about much more going forward and can use the momentum to carry them forward through the rest of the season.
