Wait, and there’s basketball: PF Amanze Ngumezi
Finishing off with a different sport here. UGA showed there is no reason you can’t recruit players for different sports at football games. Power Forward Ngumezi was at the game and enjoyed himself so much, he committed to UGA afterward.

He’s a big time get for Mark Fox and this is a good start for his 2018 class. He has a big frame that some analysts believe is already ready for the college game. Georgia is always looking for big men who can be a nuisance in the paint and Ngumezi looks like just that.

Mark Fox had a rough start to his career at UGA when it came to recruiting. However, last year he was able to sign highly rated Rashaun Hammonds and that made a big difference. If he can continue to put together some solid classes over the next year or 2, the future should continue to get brighter for UGA basketball. Credit to Fox and his staff for starting off this recruiting cycle in a good way with Ngumezi.
