Georgia Tech might have their best QB of Paul Johnson era

It’s kind of a mixed bag with Georgia Tech. One one hand, their offense looked great. The running backs did their job well, but TaQuon Marshall was very impressive. He even looked good throwing the ball. However, as I already pointed out, Tennessee’s run defense was terrible last season. And Tech’s ball security looked atrocious.

Defensively, they played very well early on. They found a potent pass rush with only three or four rushers. But as the game progressed, they just couldn’t stop the Volunteers. Tech’s defensive line is pretty good, but their linebackers and defensive backs are what ultimately cost them.

They Yellow Jackets are our last opponent of the regular season so a lot could change between now and then. But as of right now, their triple option looks better than ever, but their defensive doesn’t present much of a challenge.
