The NFL season is officially underway and there are plenty of former Bulldogs playing on Sundays. Georgia Football puts plenty of players into the league so every week, there are always some former favorites to look out for. Here are some of the former UGA greats who stood out this past weekend.

Honourable mentions.

After a dominant defensive display by the dawgs this past week, we’ll start on that side of the ball! Jordan Jenkins and Lenord Floyd both did their best to make an impact in losing efforts. Both had 3 tackles in losses and made an impact but neither were able to quite get to the quarterback and get sacks. Alec Ogletree also had a solid game as his LA Rams crushed the Colts, in part thanks to a great defensive effort. Ogletree had 3.5 tackles in the 46-9 win.

On the offensive side, Todd Gurley scored a touchdown in the Rams win although he struggled to run the ball. He only had a run average of 2.1 yards as the Colts sold out to stop the Rams running game. Chris Conley also had a big day in the opening game and have two big time catching as the Chiefs beat the defending champion Patriots.
