The Georgia Bulldogs will play host to Samford Saturday night in Athens. To you, this might be just another game, to Coach Smart, it’s a reunion. Coach Kirby Smart and Coach Chris Hatcher coached together at Valdosta State University. Georgia Football is heavily favored in this game and should win so let’s dive into this breakdown.

What Samford likes to do.

Samford wants to get the ball to their big play receiver Kelvin McKnight. Devlin Hodges is another dual threat quarterback that may give UGA some problems. They are a passing team and if Hodges can get time, he possibly could keep Samford in this game.

What Georgia wants to do.

I believe now is the time that Georgia would like to find its offensive identity. This game could be a good time to test some new things. Of course, they would like to give the ball to the running backs, but I’d like to see them give Fromm a little bit of control and let him cut loose.

X-Factors

For Samford, Kelvin McKnight is definitely the man to watch. The Junior wide receiver is listed at 5 foot 9 and 188 pounds. He’s had a huge impact early for Samford and could have a huge game Saturday.

For Georgia, the entire offensive line. This is a game that UGA should win so they’re they x factor for the sole fact that this is a game to work on things. If the offense can catch up to the defense, Georgia could be a definite contender and it starts up front. Georgia has a small line and they’re pretty young as well. I’m not taking Samford for granted, I’m just saying this is a great opportunity to work on things.

Who wins the game?

Georgia should take this one easily. They should dominate each phase of the game.  I think Georgia wins 41-3.
