After each game, various players and position groups from the Georgia football team will receive a weekly report card from Dawn of the Dawg. How did the Dawgs do in Week 3?

Don’t let the naysayers tell you any different, a win is a win in football. While Samford might not be the best team, Georgia Football fans should be happy. They handled their business much better than they did in 2016. So let’s take a look at how they performed before next weeks big time game.

Offensive Line: B+

Although the offensive line had a great game for the Dawgs last Saturday, it is important to remember it was against FCS opponent Samford. That being said, this unit paved the way for 284 team rushing yards and kept Jake Fromm fairly well protected all game.

This unit still seems to be finding its identity early in the season. There has still been some rotation of players at both guard positions as the coaching staff tries to find the best combination of 5 players that put the team in the best position to win.

Luckily, Georgia has seemed to find some stability at both offensive tackle positions with Isaiah Wynn and Andrew Thomas both having excellent seasons so far. The offensive line will have a very tough test this coming Saturday against Mississippi State in Athens.
