It’s not all roses, of course.

The defense needs to get more sacks. They’ll  need to create more turnovers than they did against Vanderbilt (Vandy didn’t turn the ball over once on Saturday). More is going to be asked out of Jake Fromm and the passing game in games against Florida, Auburn and (hopefully) Alabama in the SEC championship. Throwing the ball only 14 times isn’t going to get it done against Bama.

So, where do we go from top 4 in the nation and 6-0? Not to sound cliché, but we just keep on keeping on. Continue to improve. “Keep chopping”.   I could tell, as I’m sure many of you could, that Kirby had some legitimate concerns yesterday. He wasn’t just yelling at players in the 4th quarter for nothing. Kirby expects this team and his players to play better than they did against Vandy. The guy knows that Georgia have to keep improving. They will need to play much better if they want to beat Auburn or Bama. They will also need need to stay focused if they are going to avoid an upset this season.

This team continues to show that it is one of the three legit contenders in the SEC along with Bama and Auburn. To secure a place in the playoffs, the Dawgs will have to face them both. The last part of the 2017 season is shaping up to be very interesting for the new  #4 team in the country, to say the least. Georgia will face off against Missouri this Saturday. It will be UGA’s homecoming game (7:30 kickoff, SEC Network).
