Total domination on the field again

Anyone who watched the game against Vandy knows what domination looks like. To me, this was the worst I have seen UGA’s defense play all season and they still crushed the Commodores. That unit was clearly missing several starters but it really didn’t matter. They essentially only gave up 1 touchdown all game. Even though they didn’t look as good as in previous weeks, they still looked dominant.

That play was surpassed this week by the offense. That’s not exactly something I thought I would type this season. The offensive line had by far the best game I have seen in years from UGA. THe holes they were opening up against a pretty decent defensive line was huge. Our running backs capitalized by running over and around tacklers. It actually looked like we could score whenever we wanted.

We basically didn’t need a QB this week. Jake Fromm has a great pass for a TD on a play action but he simply wasn’t needed. That’s how good the offense was. Vanderbilt knew Georgia was going to run the ball and couldn’t stop them. When was the last time you saw that at UGA?

This was the 3rd time in 3 weeks Georgia has dominated an SEC opponent. Yes, Vandy isn’t exactly Alabama and Tennessee and Mississippi State are flawed teams. But when was the last time UGA played like this? When was the last time they strangled teams this effectively?
