Be patient, this class is going to be special:

Patience is a virtue and we all know its something us sports fans lack. However, after such an amazing start to the year, I would suggest that it is something Dawg fans need to practice. We’ve had so many great things happen so far this fall, it’s only natural for us to keep expecting them to happen.

But we’re officially at the point where there might be a slowdown. With Fields and Anderson now in the 2018 class, it’s totally fine for there to be a bit of a lull. As hard as the coaches are going to try, they aren’t going to rush top talents. It’s probably safe to say that rushing a player into making a decision they are not ready for is not a good idea.

Based off everything I’ve read about our coaches, they encourage guys to go out there and look at other schools. They do this because they’re confident that they’ll win out anyway and it’s what is best for the kid.

Next: If not Bama, then who?

When it’s all said and done, I think Georgia will land at least 3 of Salyer, Cook, Hill, Henry and Campbell. We’re just going to be a little patient and wait for it to happen. Fortunately, unlike a lot of teams out there (ahem Tennessee), we still have plenty to look forward to on Saturdays as well. So let’s enjoy the next 5 of those as much as we can. The recruiting should take care of itself.
