In what was one of the most satisfying Georgia Football game in a very long time, the Dawgs pounded the Florida Gators in Jacksonville.

Well guys, I think this Georgia Football team might be quite good. The Bulldogs gave Florida an absolute beatdown and won 42-7. In what was one of the most complete performances we have seen this year, the Dawgs treated the Gators just like they treated Tennesee a few weeks ago.

The Dawgs defence was absolutely suffocating and they had what was by far their best game of the season. We saw turnovers, a touchdown on defence and two stops on 4th down. The line was the most disruptive we have seen all season. Trenton Thompson and David Marshall’s return were huge. That unit made Felippe Franks and the Gators miserable all day.

Georgia put up … points mainly through another dominant day on the ground. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel both put their past Gator worries behind them. Chubb ran for 77 yards and the games first TD. Michel only touched the ball 6 times. That’s all he needed as he ran wild for 137 yards and 2 scores. His longest run of the game was a 74 yard TD that moved UGA to a 21 point lead.

Jake Fromm had a bit of a rough day, only completing 4 passes and he threw an interception. But that concern is for another day. With a defence and running game like this, he did what he needed to. He deserved credit for throwing a couple of clutch passes when Georgia needed them.

Next: Pre-game breakdown

Georgia moved to 8-0 and is now fully on track to win the SEC East. It was a great game by the Dawgs and there are still great things ahead for this team. UGA will have to play better teams than Florida. If they keep playing like this, however, that might not matter.
