4. “Careful what you wish for!”

This is one I have heard a few times when someone mentions playing against Alabama. The ones who say this seem to think that keeping our thoughts and feelings to ourselves about this will somehow save the Dawgs from in their minds what is an inevitable thrashing at the hands of the Crimson Tide. Well, you know what, folks?

I’m not accepting that. I want to see this team play Alabama. I want both teams to be at full strength and I want both to play their best. And I want Georgia to beat them. I know what others are thinking. If that game happened tomorrow, Bama would likely be a 10 point favorite. That doesn’t matter to me.

I’ve already said earlier this season  that I believe Georgia is the team best equipped to beat them. I still believe that. So I will “be careful what I wish for”, and hope I get it. I wish for the Dawgs to face Alabama in the SEC championship and for Georgia to beat them.
