How did he end up at UGA?

.Jackson has been liked to UGA for a very long time. He was clearly one of if not the top target for wide receivers coach James Coley in this class. Having loaded up on some bigger receivers like JJ Holloman and Matt Landers in 2017, Coley was looking for something different in 2018.

Jackson is more of a slot receiver and that’s exactly what Coley wanted. Jackson often talked about how Coley had made him the priority target for UGA this year. He committed to Georgia at the end of August at a family BBQ where he invited fans to join him.

It was a great gesture and plenty fo Dawg fans had the opportunity to meet a guy who is going to be playing in Athens next year. Now UGA signee Trey Hill also attended, perhaps a sign that he was likely to join the Dawgs after all.

After committing, Jackson did exactly what he said he would and went to work. He pushed hard with Justin Fields almost immediately and while I doubt that swayed Justin, I imagine it can’t of hurt. Once Fields was on board, Jackson worked hard alongside him to bring in other players.

‘King Kearis’ was always tweeting out to prospects such as Jamaree Salyer and Cade Mays trying to bring them on board. He made sure to reach out to them after their officials which he couldn’t be in Athens for because his mother had a baby. That energy and hard work really helped build this 2018 class. Jackson will enroll early in a week.
