13. Crumpton puts the nail in Tech’s coffin – Georgia Tech

Oh, Georgia Tech. I almost don’t want to give them the satisfaction of putting anything from that game in there. It’s been pathetic how Tech has celebrated Alabama beating UGA this past week. Some of their teams are even wearing Alabama shirts instead of their own to ‘thank’ the Crimson Tide. THat’s a step too far if you ask me.

Anyway, because of that, I thought I’d put this play in. This was actually a very boring game. Tech did basically nothing and UGA were in control the entire game. The Dawgs dominated possession and the scoreboard from start to finish. To be honest, Samford put up more of a struggle. Watching a backup receiver burn them for a 78 yarder pretty much summed up the game nicely.

This is no slight on Crumpton, who I think is a decent player, but you can’t get burned like that by a backup. To make matter worse for them, they also picked up flags for personal fouls thanks to a late hit on Jake Fromm. Seriously, guys, even cheating didn’t help them.

As a Dawg fan, this was a sweet way to end the regular season. Not only did we get revenge for 2016, but we also ended the Yellow Jackets season. Because FCU cancelled a game against Tech, they only played 11 games last year. This loss meant that they finished with just 5 wins and never got to play in a bowl game.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch really…
