Georgia Football: Aaron Davis shines at UGA Pro Day
Lots of former Dawgs in the house:
The UGA pro day has become quite the event over the past few years. As per usual, there weren’t just head coaches and scouts in the house. UGA always puts on a show and so this year, they had plenty of former Dawgs in town as well.
It was appropriate to see Jordan Jenkins in the building. Having played with all of the linebackers that were working out, it was good to see him there. Jenkins continues to be a big supporter of UGA and it was great to see him there cheering on his guys.
Speaking of the Patriots, David Andrews was there as well. Andrews blocked for Sony Michel and Nick Chubb at the beginning of their careers and has already become a hit in the NFL. He’s locked into the Patriots for the next 3 years so it’s good to see a DGD make it after being a UDFA.
Terrell Davis was there as well cheering on the running backs. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel didn’t do a great amount, but they did run routes and show their catching ability. They continue to both have really solid offseasons and position themselves well for the draft.
Next: Check out Belichick working out those linebackers
Lastly, UGA has a lot of the current team watching the workouts, supporting their guys. It was great to see early enrollees like Justin Fields among that group and it was a good reminder to all of them where they can be themselves one day. Georgia is going to have a lot of NFL coaches looking at players every single year.
