Kendall Milton

Milton is another person we’ve covered a lot on Dawn of the Dawg, and I think that symbolizes how important it is for Georgia to land him.

The Dawgs will take two running backs and Milton is priority one. Of the 2020 running backs, he is the most unique running back. At 6-2 and 229-pounds, Milton could play linebacker if he wanted to.

Last year, he toted the rock 174 times for 1,337 yards and 27 rushing touchdowns. He also had seven catches for 71 yards.

According to 247Sports, Milton ranks as the No. 21 overall, No. 3 RB, No. 3 prospect in California, and the No. 190 all-time players.

However, he’s fast too. I believe he recorded a 4.59 at the Rivals 5-Star Challenge and for his size that’s pretty dang quick.

He announced that he would decide between his top 4 schools on July 29. Milton announced on May 17 that Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State were his final four. Then he took official visits to them all.

Milton went to Ohio State on May 31, LSU on June 7, Georgia on June 14, and Alabama on June 21.

Since his official visit to Georgia, the crystal ball predictions for the Dawgs have poured in as they hold a 75 percent advantage.

Milton will be one of the backs the Dawgs take for 2020. One thing I  will say I  hope to see from him this season is him catching some more balls. Other than that I’m excited to see what he does in his final season and get him to Athens sooner than later.

I think this is a done deal and July 29 will be a good day for Dawg fans.
