Georgia football picked up a commitment Sunday evening when Chad Lindberg chose the Dawgs over other schools. Here’s a closer look at Sam Pittman’s latest haul.

One thing that Georgia football always emphasizes is recruiting the offensive line. Sunday the Dawgs added 4-star offensive tackle Chad Lindberg from League City, Texas.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 133 overall, No. 14 OT, and the No. 19 prospect out of Texas.

Lindberg chose the Dawgs over Texas giving Georgia its fourth offensive linemen of the 2020 class.

The four-star made his decision on Twitter and posted, “Thank you to all. COMMITTED #GoDawgs #CommittedToTheG”

Lindberg is a versatile offensive lineman that can play multiple positions. He fits right into what Pittman likes, and at 6-6.5 327 he’s another bully we gladly welcome to the offensive line.

One thing that stands out to me is his flexibility and how well he moves out of his stance, but he does need to work on being able to take on SEC level speed rushers. However, in my opinion, that’ll come when Pittman gets him on campus and begins developing him.

Lindberg is a finisher and has a mean streak, and I like that aggressiveness in him.

I enjoyed watching his film because he could be a guy that could come in and help contribute sooner than later.

I’m just excited for Pittman to get ahold of him and develop him into another great lineman.

Speaking of Pittman, his latest ‘yes, sir’ video is an instant classic.

He hopped on Twitter had Old Town Road playing in the background and talks a little about how excited he is, and then he goes, and I almost forgot and let out a yes sir while putting on a black cowboy hat.

Pittman is a legend; he beats to his own drum, knows he’s good and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. He will land the guy he wants, and it’s obvious.

It was huge for Georgia to pluck Lindberg out of Texas because it isn’t always the easiest state to get talent out of, but he is the second pickup, joining Jalen Kimber, out of the Lonestar state for the 2020 class.
