Georgia football: Who will be the next to commit?

Georgia football already landed one commitment in July. However, the Bulldogs are far from finished.

Georgia football added its 15th pledge on Sunday when Chad Lindberg committed to the Dawgs.

However, Georgia doesn’t seem finished this month.

We all know that Kendall Milton makes his decision today at 8 p.m. ET. In my opinion, the 5-star running back will choose the Dawgs and become member No. 16 for the Dawgs.

So instead of putting him as one of my three guys that could pull the trigger, I decided to choose three other guys.

The momentum that surrounds Milton and the Dawgs is almost apparent and his announcement will make it public knowledge.

More from Dawn of the Dawg

While I don’t know that to be true, I feel like he’s a Dawg and we will all be happy and excited to see him make his decision finally.

Georgia currently has the No. 5 recruiting overall and No. 3 SEC class on 247Sports. The Dawgs have 15 members, including two 5-stars, ten 4-stars, and three 3-stars.

Today, I believe that 5-star No. 3 will join the class.

However, I want to look past Milton and see who else could be next to commit to the Dawgs.

Sedrick Van Pran

Even though the Dawgs added its fourth offensive linemen with Lindberg, I don’t think that Sam Pittman is done adding 2020 members.

The final touch will likely be Van Pran, a four-star center from New Orleans, Louisiana.

He came to town for this past weekend’s recruiting event and seemed to have a good time.

Van Pran has been trending heavily for Georgia the last month or so and it isn’t surprising. The Dawgs were one of the first SEC teams to offer, and he fits the mold of a Pittman specimen.

I still like Georgia’s chances to land him, and he could commit any time now.

Arian Smith

I mentioned in another article that Georgia could take one more wide receiver, but I didn’t say, Arian Smith. He popped up on my radar in the last few weeks.

On July 15th he tweeted a video about his top 8 teams. Those teams are FSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, and Oklahoma.

Like Van Pran, Smith was on campus this past weekend for the recruiting event and has a lot of traction toward Georgia.

Smith is also a track star and recently competed and won the Pan Am U20 Champs 4×100 race. The team won it and made a world record by running it in 38.62. One of those four members is Georgia track and field stud, Matthew Boiling.

He’s incredibly fast and will likely be a slot kind of guy and possibly a return guy.

I think if Georgia has room, the Dawgs will make it for Smith.

Zykeivous Walker

One of the more quiet guys in the 2020 recruiting cycle, Zykeivous Walker likes the Dawgs.

On April 17, Walker announced his top 5 schools. Those five schools are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.

For a long time, I feel like Walker has been a guy that might shop around, but stays home at the end of the process. He seems like someone who likes Georgia, and I think he’s one of the final puzzle pieces the Dawgs need on the defensive line.

When he makes a decision is still up in the air, but I think he will make it before the end of the football season.

Walkers a big target for the Dawgs, and I expect him to be on campus a good bit this fall.

Georgia is hot on the recruiting trail right now, and if players are smart, they’ll start hopping on board as well. I think Georgia could add at least one of the three guys I mentioned sooner than later.
