Georgia football landed one 5-star running back on July 29. We all know that the Dawgs will take two and I think that the other guy is going to be Zachary Evans.

This past weekend was a big one for Georgia football, especially when 5-star running back Zachary Evans came to campus.

While it could be a long stretch that the Dawgs land both Evans and Milton, it might not be so far fetched.

The Dawgs hosted nine 5-stars this past weekend, and among them was Evans.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Evans ranks as the No. 6 overall,  No. 1 RB, No. 1 prospect in Texas, and the No. 34 all-time recruit.

On his 247Sports profile, 44 percent of experts say that they cannot predict where Evans will go to school.  Twenty-two percent believe Alabama lands him, and Texas, Texas A&M, and Georgia all hold an 11 percent advantage.

Back on May 28, he tweeted out his top five which include Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, and LSU.

Even though there were no Texas schools on that top 5 list, he continues to visit Texas A&M so don’t count out the Aggies in this one.

He made the most of his quiet period visiting LSU July 25, Texas A&M July 26 and Georgia on July 27.

Something that stood out to me though was his tweet on July 29th. It’s a dog emoji and a question mark. There are three photos, as well.

Something else that stands out to me is the fact that he didn’t tweet photos from the other visits.

Evans is a silent guy, and you don’t hear a lot out of him, and because of this, us experts cannot get a good read on him.

I will say that he and Milton communicate a ton on Twitter and Milton told Dawg Nation, he was going to recruiting hard for Evans and Tank Bigsby to fill in the second spot.

Would it be awesome to see Georgia land, Evans and Milton? Yeah 100 percent, however, I think it’s a 50/50 chance right now that Georgia does.

I have him in my class prediction, and I think he will commit to the Dawgs.

So there is my prediction, I think the that Dell McGee finds a way to convince Evans that Georgia can get him to the next level. Evans is a perfect addition to Milton.

I don’t think Evans will be the next to commit to the Dawgs, but when he makes that decision, I think it’ll be Georgia football getting the good news.

Georgia’s nailing the 2020 recruiting class one commitment at a time, and if the Dawgs continue to have this much momentum, we could see history made.
