Georgia Football: Sedrick Van Pran, the final piece for offensive line
Georgia football already has four offensive linemen committed in the 2020 class. However, the Dawgs will likely take one more, and it should be Sedrick Van Pran.
While Georgia football has four offensive linemen already for the 2020 class, but I feel like the Dawgs will take one more.
The guy who I think Georgia goes after is Sedrick Van Pran.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Van Pran ranks as the No. 98 overall, No. 3 OC, and the No. 3 prospect in Louisiana.
On May 8, he released his top 8 schools. Those teams are LSU, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Alabama
Van Pran is one of those versatile guys that can play center or guard. He’s a team guy who loves his teammates.
I like his footwork and how he can bulldoze over people. Van Pran doesn’t make quick and will not stop until the whistle blows.
He seems like someone who will be a leader on and off the field, and that’s what Georgia needs. The Dawgs have a lot of leaders on the offensive line, but he seems like someone who will jump in and be a team player until it’s his time to be a leader.
Man, he’s aggressive and its fun to watch. Van Pran isn’t afraid to throw his opponent down and move onto the next one. He comes out of his stance well and has some flexibility.
His 247Sports profile says he 6-4 and 305 pounds. I’m ready to see him get on a strength and nutrition program. Once Van Pran does this, he will be one strong offensive linemen.
I bet Sam Pittman is working on getting him on campus again once this August dead period ends and they can host again. It was big to get him on campus this week for the July visit, and I think even though Chad Lindberg committed that he saw he was still a priority.
When will he decide? Right now, I think that he could commit any time, but I also believe Van Pran will use his official visits and then make his decision.
Georgia’s 2020 recruiting class is going to be special. The Dawgs are capitalizing on all the necessities and then some. The next month will be slow, but after that dead period is over, it’ll be all downhill from there and then December’s signing day will be here before we know it.
The Dawgs have some work to do, but it seems like each piece is falling into place to have an epic National Signing Day.
