No backing down

Add the costs of the last two projects with the new Football Facility project, and the University of Georgia and its Dawg Nation contributors will have spent 171 million dollars on new facilities and facility enhancements in five years.

“It’s the current environment that we have in intercollegiate athletics,” Georgia President Jere Morehead said. “This program is focused on serving the student-athletes, so I didn’t see anything about it that isn’t going to help our student-athletes be more successful and more supported, which is essential.”

Let’s translate that for those of you not familiar with the academic world.

“We ain’ backin down, we ain’ backin’ up. This red and black machine got no reverse. Now, fill these buckets with money and lets get us a trophy.”

Can  I get an Amen?

Can I get a dollar?
