Look boys, we’ve started off well this season, but we haven’t achieved any of our goals yet. Today is another opportunity to show the nation that for Georgia football, the standard is the standard.

We’re gonna come out on offense and we’re gonna start hot and stay hot. O-line – nobody gets home today – the only thing anchoring down will be your behinds in the trenches.

Quarterbacks, backs, receivers, come out and do what you do. Play loose, play free, and be dynamic all damn day.

Defense, we’ve prepped hard all week. The table is set, the food is ready, the drinks are cold, and now it’s time to party. Somebody might call the fire department when y’all hit the field today because it’s gonna be 11 guys playing with their Hair. On. Fire.

Special teams: third phase, best phase. You are the ultimate advantage. Nobody gives y’all the respect you deserve, but you’re damn sure earning it every week.

Fellas, Vince Lombardi used to say, “Perfection is not attainable. But, if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”

Today is another opportunity for us to catch excellence.

Today is another opportunity to compete and assert our physicality.

Remember what we said last week, we’re not practicing to beat somebody, we’re practicing to beat everybody.

We’ve beaten three teams so far. Vanderbilt is the next one we cross off the list.

We haven’t seen Vanderbilt in almost two years. They tapped out last season and cost our seniors the honor of being celebrated for their contributions to our program.

Maybe they’ve forgotten who we are. Maybe they don’t remember what it feels like to play a Georgia football team.

Today, we’re gonna re-introduce ourselves. When that game ends today, that Power G is gonna be tattooed on those boys from stem to sternum.

We’re in Nasvhille. Music City. Let’s go out, sing a lil’ tune, and beat their a** like a drum.

Go Dawgs!
