Leaked Kirby Smart video is just what Dawg fans needed
A leaked video of Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart during halftime of the Florida game surfaced Tuesday, and it has been the spark this week needed.
While it isn’t good to know the video leaked to the public, Dawg fans and recruits everywhere are excited that it did.
Dawg nation has seen Smart get fired up in the past, the “I want to eat” video comes to mind, but there is something different about this one. The passion that comes through from Smart is why he is the right man for the job at Georgia.
Smart loves his job, and he knows how to deliver a halftime speech. One has to wonder if all the halftime speeches, and we hope they are. This audio should tell everyone why the Dawgs are as good as they are this season. What football player wouldn’t want to go to war after hearing this from their head coach?

As Georgia fans, we all know the feeling of falling short and getting so much trash from other teams. Not this year though, this team wants to win it all more than anything else, but they understand it takes one week at a time to do so.
This video is just what Georgia fans needed as it is hard to get excited for a game against an FCS opponent. Also, anyone who thinks it’s a negative thing hasn’t been around football all that much. This video does have a lot of cussing in it, but that is coach nature. The players listen to it, get fired up about it, and by hearing this from their coach, they know it means something to be a Bulldog.
Recruits love this stuff because they want to play for a school with a passionate coach who loves the university and his job. This video shows that and shows how compelling words can be.
Smart loves his job and the University of Georgia. He played here and giving back to the school that gave him everything is a neat thing to possess. Smart and this team have the opportunity to bring a national championship back to Athens for the first time in 41 years.
While 2017 stung, this year is different, and this video defines that difference. Georgia understands what they have to do, and man, this video is so motivating. Hearing this out of the head coach’s mouth would make anyone want to run through a brick wall and bully an opponent. No wonder Georgia is so good.
It isn’t good to have something leaked, but this video does nothing but makes Smart look better — to recruits, boosters and everyone willing to listen. This audio needs to be on a loop in the locker room, turned into alarm sounds, played over and over because it’s that powerful.
