Georgia football had a huge recruiting weekend where players from various classes came for visits.

Well, for 4-star cornerback Antione Jackson, after his March 18 visit, he decided Georgia was the school for him.

He took to Twitter and announced with an excellent video.

Jackson is the first member of the 2024 class for the Dawgs, and he could be the first of many to decide in the coming weeks.

Georgia football earned the first commitment of many for the 2024 class.

According to 247Sports 2024 Composite rankings, Jackson is currently the No. 43 overall, No. 6 corner and the No. 16 player out of Florida.

He already has 13 offers, with Notre Dame being the latest to offer on March 18. Auburn offered while on his March 17 visit.

At 6-0 and 170-pounds, the rising junior is already someone people are watching. Another defensive back out of the Sunshine state picking Georgia is just becoming the new norm, and we’re living for it.

During his sophomore year at Dillard, which is in Florida’s second-highest classification, Jackson finished with 31 tackles and four interceptions.

Jackson is already tall and has the length to handle the bigger receivers. Once he grows into his body, it’s going to be a problem for anyone going against him. At the same time, he is a 4-star right now but could be a 5-star after this season.

His junior year will be a big one for Jackson because it will be the one we see how much he grows physically and how much he works on his craft.

Brown is already hitting the ground running, and with him landing a 2024 guy, it will show the 2023 guys that he is someone they can grow and get a great college development.

Jackson is a tremendous first pickup, and it’s going to be exciting to see who joins him.
