Georgia football has heavily pursued 5-star quarterback Arch Manning for the 2023 recruiting cycle, but what if he decided to go elsewhere and not to Athens?

We still think that Manning and Georgia have a great relationship, so he could still sign with the Dawgs, but it’s also good to know the other options.

Recruiting can go so many different ways. It’s always good to have various plans, so if one doesn’t work out, it’s not like a team is starting over, but instead shifts its focus onto another.

If Arch Manning chooses another school, Georgia football will look at these three 2023 quarterbacks.

Manning is picking between the Dawgs, Alabama and Texas. The most recent reports suggest that the Tide made a massive jump in his recruiting, which made us wonder who Georgia would target at quarterback if they didn’t land him.

Regardless, Georgia will take one quarterback in this class because keeping that room deep is essential. Teams never know if injuries will deplete the whole room or a few may transfer out, so making sure it’s fully stocked is vital. That said, it’s hard finding quarterbacks now willing to wait their turn, but it isn’t impossible.

The Dawgs could even see one transfer after the spring or early fall, but who knows, they could all stay. Georgia has a lot of talent in that room, so this 2023 guy needs to know he is coming into a battle for the starting role that Georgia won’t hand to him — he will have to work for it.

Here are three quarterbacks the Dawgs would pursue if Manning chose one of his other finalists.
