Georgia football isn’t afraid to use their celebrity friends in the Dawg Walk and other areas. After sending Hairy Dawg, Jordan Davis, and former head coach Vince Dooley to Atlanta earlier this week, it was only fitting for Atlanta to send someone for Georgia’s G-Day scrimmage.

The Braves mascot Blooper took on the Dawg Walk with Hairy Dawg, and he stole the show. He looked like a veteran, but after taking a game on last season, Blooper knew his role.

Most Dawg fans are Braves fans, so this continued collaboration between both championship teams should live on forever.

Georgia football brought in special guest Blooper for the G-Day Dawg Walk.

Champions hang out with other winners, so Georgia and the Braves must protect this semi-new relationship. This unique thing that Georgia and the Braves have is interesting because it’s not something seen all the time.

There are two things that Southern people love — college football and major league baseball. The Braves are a lot of SEC teams fans’ favorite baseball team, so for Georgia to get this kind of win is incredible.

Georgia and the Braves in the same state make it easier to collaborate. Still, it is also unique because unless Georgia State and Georgia Tech find a miracle, it’ll continue to be just a Dawg and Brave thing.

Some Dawg fans don’t like the Braves, and we get that, but this collaboration is something Georgia can do that other teams can’t, so it’s also a recruiting tactic.  Georgia is just getting more creative with so much changing in the recruiting landscape.

It’s not every day that a professional baseball team and a college team win their respected championships in the same year, so hang on for the ride because they’ll enjoy every single moment of it.

Plus, when someone doesn’t like the Braves, Blooper handles those Twitter haters like a pro.

State of champions has a nice ring to it, and the fact Georgia is a part of it gives us the best feeling. Dawg fans have waited a while for this and to share it with the baseball team is a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

What will be next for the Dawgs and the Braves in this fantastic relationship? We’re not sure, but it will be fun to watch. There are still six months until another World Series champion emerges, so these two have plenty of time to create great content.

Georgia football will host a quality group of recruits for G-Day. dark. Next

Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves have a special bond that will be there as long as head coach Kirby Smart and Brian Snitker are in charge of their teams.
