One thing that never ceases to amaze is the amount of dedication and talent that Georgia football has in its social media team. In today’s society, growing the Dawg brand is extremely important. This group has done a fantastic job with over a million followers across all platforms.

They are constantly finding new ways to engage with the fans, and those hype videos from 2021 all deserve some media award.

While we are all used to social media and take advantage of having such a strong social team, some schools out there don’t get it.

Georgia football sets the standard for college football social media.

Last weekend for G-Day, all of those videos gave us chills. The graphics for the national championship were flawless. There is so much creativity flowing in that department, and it’s a huge recruiting advantage.

Those creative minds make being in the media industry so cool— everyone has different visions, and when it comes together, it’s magic. Anyone can take photos and make a graphic, but the way Georgia football finds unique ways to draw in the fans — it’s untouchable.

Remember for April Fool’s Day — that photo gave the fanbase a heart attack, but it was clever and got people talking about the Dawgs. They move the needle as much as the team itself.

Who makes their own ESPN magazine graphic, and it looks this real? This example is the latest graphic that is jaw-dropping to us. The champion issue touch is a small detail, but it matters.

There is the collaboration with the Atlanta Braves and their mascot, Blooper. Getting Hairy Dawg and Blooper together for things has been a great way to grow the brand for both fanbases. It’s unique, and something not many teams get to do because it’s rare to see a state have two sets of champions.

In the last few days, the ring content has also been some of their best work. Georgia finally got their championship rings, and we hope the videos and content never end because it’s the best.

This group is another weapon head coach Kirby Smart has in his arsenal because recruits see this and know that the content will be top-notch if they come here. The kids know how important it is to have an audience on social media, and Georgia football provides the best.

Georgia has always had an incredible social media team, and the hype videos were excellent, but what this crew has done in the last year makes it even more memorable.

They got to document it all, and without this group, who knows how it would have looked. When other teams have won, it hasn’t seemed as good as what Georgia’s social team did in 2021. Maybe I didn’t see it, but it still doesn’t change my opinion.

Georgia has the best media team in college football. It’s not just the football team either, but all sports. This group makes them all look good, which is why they’re the best. From top to bottom, they set the tone.
