Georgia football fans are truly the best and never fail to provide some of the best reactions when big things happen. The Dawgs saw five players drafted during round one of the 2022 NFL Draft, including having Travon Walker selected as the No.1 overall pick.

With so much going on, Dawg fans had plenty to celebrate and react to on Thursday night.

The reactions from not just fans but fellow NFL players, the media and anyone in between were also entertaining to read.

To put it simply, Georgia won night one of the NFL Draft and the world loved it β€” at least to us they did.

The year of the Dawg continues and at this point we hope it never ends because it’s just too much fun seeing this much success.

Georgia football saw some great reactions to their five first round 2022 NFL Draft picks.

To start this article off, there is only one proper way to do it. As we all know the Dawgs had one of the most memorable seasons in their program’s history. That defense bullied opponents on a weekly basis and the office complimented them by putting up 40-plus points a game.

However, Georgia fans love a good full circle moment and well the first round saw one that caught the attention of this media member.

There is nothing quite like starting and ending the first round with a Dawg, but what makes it even sweeter is Georgia started and finished their season with a pick-six. Those two things put together and it combines for a perfect tweet.

These reactions kept getting better though. From the start when Walker got selected first, Georgia fans were ready with their social media ammo to silence all the haters.

There were a few negative comments about Walker not being good enough for this pick, but the Jaguars didn’t care. The media even tried to make the pick less relevant with their whole car wreck nonsense, but Georgia fans didn’t care they just were happy to see the Jags make the right choice.

After Walker came the excitement surrounding Jordan Davis. It’s safe to say there were a few Eagles excited about the big man coming to Philly.

Georgia had two defensive linemen selected within the first 13 draft picks, so giving credit to coach Tray Scott was a must. He proved his worth with these two, but to have Devonte Wyatt join them and have three linemen go in the first round is flat out incredible.

So we must agree, Georgia needs to pay the man because Scott is an elite defensive line coach that helped develop these guys into what they are today.

Quay Walker was the first linebacker off the board, and went a few picks ahead of Wyatt, but he seemed to be the surprise of the first round. Walker is the total package though and Green Bay knew what it was doing when they drafted him and Wyatt.

Lewis Cine rounded out the first round by getting picked up by the Vikings. However, with him being the fifth player, Georgia set a new school record and NFL Draft record. Those two facts sent Twitter into overdrive and the content that came from it is perfect.

There are so many more reacations and opinion on the interwebs about these Dawgs, but regardless Georgia made history and set the tone for the 2022 NFL Draft. These five players deserved every bit of the love and support they got last night, and we cannot wait to see what happens next for them.
