Georgia football lost a lot of talent, but there are a few secret weapons on defense that will shock the college football world this fall.

Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins is one of those guys who will make an excellent terror up front alongside Jalen Carter. A silent killer is a great way to describe Ingram-Dawkins because he grew and improved through spring.

When the Dawgs recruited Ingram-Dawkins, there was a lot of hype surrounding him, and now he is living up to that.

Georgia football has a secret weapon on the defensive line, and he will cause havoc.

Coming out of high school, Ingram-Dawkins was a 4-star on 247Sports and ranked on their Composite rankings as the No. 23 defensive linemen and the No.1 player out of South Carolina.

He is a larger human at 6-5 and 300-pounds, and Georgia needs that size up front with the Dawgs losing Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt.

The Dawgs are looking to add someone who can play alongside Carter and be as disruptive as him. Ingram-Dawkin can do that, and he has enough talent that it will free him up on those one-on-one matchups.

Georgia needs someone who has that explosive pass rush ability to compliment Carter, so no matter who is on the field, opponents should still be aware of who is on the field.

Carter gets a lot of the attention, and people know to fear him, but Ingram-Dawkins can be the next player who gets feared.

His hand usage is very active, and watching the G-Day film Ingram-Dawkins got into the backfield a few times from fighting off blocks.

Ingram-Dawkins’ ability to convert speed to power stood out at G-Day, and that is something the Dawgs need on their front seven.

He’s a gap shooter and has the quickness to get by guards and tackles if he’s working inside or outside. Ingram-Dawkins is a 5-tech defensive end, so the power and intelligence a defense needs on edge are what we’ll see from him.

Next. Georgia football is easily RBU and Alabama cannot steal that title. dark

Georgia is looking for that next strong defensive lineman, and Ingram-Dawkins could be that guy. He has the talent and ability to be the next great guy up front, and 2022 could be the year we see him blossom.
