Those new all-white Georgia football uniforms are flawless
Georgia football fans are once again torn about uniform schemes, and while some don’t like the new uniforms the recruits are donning, most do.
Those new all-white uniforms are absolutely gorgeous and have such a fresh look to them. The white helmets are a new favorite among recruits, and I think they would look good with everything but the red jerseys.
I’m still a traditionalist in the sense of keeping those historic home uniforms the way they should be, but outside of that, I’m open to other options.
After seeing multiple recruits put the various uniform schemes on and how well they photograph, I cannot fathom anyone disliking them.
Georgia football has the best uniform schemes among all Power 5 colleges.
In our opinion, fans don’t like change, which we get because sometimes switching things up isn’t always in the best interest. However, this uniform scheme is so clean and fresh that it’s silly not to like it.
I’m not putting down anyone’s dislike for the uniform scheme, but fresh looks like that are good for the game and ultimately recruiting. Georgia can still have traditions and cool uniforms.
Maybe the white will eventually allow the Dawgs to get silver britches back into the lineup, and we can only hope for that.
After winning a national championship, the Dawgs deserve something cool, and this white uniform is that. It’s great to see head coach Kirby Smart give the go-ahead to the equipment team to have these available for recruits.
There is some doubt that they will ever see the field because Smart is a traditional guy, but just allowing the recruits to wear them is good enough for us.
The energy surrounding this team is untouchable, and now they are opening their eyes and trying new things with uniforms — who are they?
Georgia fans love to complain about the black jerseys, and now that the Dawgs won a national title, maybe that will end, but the focus will turn to the all-white ones now even though they look the best — outside the traditional red.
Change can be fun, and right now is the perfect time to let go of the bad juju surrounding uniforms and being a Georgia — just enjoy that our team is the champs, and that comes with a bit of fun.
