Georgia football added another commitment to the 2023 recruiting class in Daniel Harris.

The latest pickup for the Georgia football team is 4-star cornerback Daniel Harris.

After getting four pledges in June, the Dawgs are already off to a strong start for July and aren’t remotely close to being done.

Harris is the first dominion of the July pledges as Georgia could add up to four more this month alone.

He has been someone Georgia wanted for a while as he is a tall corner with the right mindset and talent to be a part of the secondary powerhouse the Dawgs are building.

With Harris’ pledge, the Dawgs now have 13 pledges and the No.6 team on the overall 247Sports recruiting rankings, and the No.1 SEC team.

Daniel Harris is Georgia football’s latest talented secondary player in this 2023 recruiting class.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Harris is the No. 151 overall, No.19 cornerback and the No. 31 player out of Florida.

Head coach Kirby Smart and his staff once again poached a top talent out of Florida, and it’s such a great feeling to see.

Defensive backs coach Fran Brown did it again with this one and is on track to land an excellent first class at Georgia.

He continues to show fans what kind of recruiter he is and why Smart hired him. Brown did a great job building this relationship and showing this south Florida corner he is a priority.

Harris announced on Twitter, telling his mother that they were heading to Athens. He gives the Dawgs another momentum burst after they didn’t close out June as hot as some thought they would.

Georgia football will have a good month, and Harris is just the start of the success coming to the Dawgs. He is such a solid pickup and a great addition to this class.
