Georgia football: The gods provide a miracle with return of Fall Camp

Georgia football fans can rejoice as fall camp begins on this hallowed Wednesday as the team gets prep for the season started. In other words, the time has come to gather all of your Red and Black, wash them, and prepare them for football Saturdays.

As the sun rose this morning, peaking through the clouds, there was a sense of calmness — football had returned. Was there even a crispness in the air? Probably not since it’s 95 degrees, but in our hearts, there is always a crispness when fall camp arrives.

The Dawgs are still your reigning national champions, and look to keep that trophy in Athens as they can finally begin fall camp.

There is something special about the first day of fall camp and the buzz it brings to the city, interwebs, and life in general. We’ve waited months for this moment, and while spring ball gave us enough to hold us over until August, to see fall camp finally arrive brings us so much happiness.

Georgia football begins fall camp, and it’s a miracle all Dawg fans needed.

For the next month, the Dawgs will practice and prepare for the 2022 season — battling it out at each position to see who the top Dawg will be.

We know this group has talent but lacks experience. However, if anyone can prepare a team for war, it’s head coach Kirby Smart. This group seems to have the leadership, drive and urge to keep what happened in 2021 alive.

While they aren’t focusing on last year, we assume they want to keep winning and prove that Georgia isn’t a one-hit-wonder.

As we celebrate the start of fall camp, it means we’re days closer to seeing the Dawgs play in Atlanta against Oregon. Keep the faith, Georgia fans, and know that we are another day closer to being 1-0 and sending the Ducks back to the west coast, plucked and roasted.
