Georgia football quarterback Stetson Bennett had a historic game against the Oregon Ducks, but one of the most memorable plays had to be when he confused two of their defenders.

The two Duck players thought Bennett was going one way, but the mailman-turned-magician tricked them and took off the other way, resulting in a big play.

Georgia had Oregon’s number on Saturday night, and Bennett was the one that kept prank calling. He could do just about whatever he wanted against that defense, and when the videos of this play surfaced, it was like the cherry on top of the cake.

Those two defenders will never live it down for running into each other and letting Bennett scoot right on by them.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken did a great job on his playcalling against the Ducks, and the call on this particular snap was perfect. It came at the right time and allowed the Dawgs to sink that dagger in a little further.

Bennett used his legs to his advantage on Saturday, scoring the game’s second touchdown on this play. Yup, with Oregon’s defense running into each other, Bennett got into the end zone to make it 14-0. What a way to score early on in the game and make your opponent look silly.

This mishap for the Ducks reminds me of the two Florida Gator players blocking each other during a game. While it isn’t funny for the team it happens to, it is still pretty humorous for the other team executing off of it.

Georgia football fans saw a new Bennett emerge on Saturday against the Ducks, one that ran the offense with poise and confidence. Hopefully, that version of Bennett sticks around for the rest of the season because this could be another unforgettable year if he does.
