Georgia football fans are some of the most passionate people out there, and they are ones to stick by their Dawgs through the ups and downs. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy overreacting on Twitter during those rough moments.
The Dawgs beat Missouri 26-22, and it wasn’t pretty, but thank goodness for these Twitter reactions because, as we all know, laughing is the best medicine.
From the good and the bad, we’re including our favorite ones from Georgia coming back and beating Missouri. These fans were ready to fire coaches, fire players and were all in their feelings tonight. They should have been because it was unknown whether Georgia would come back or not. Some of us only got a little nervous, but some of this fanbase was way too close to jumping off the porch.
Thankfully, Georgia did come back and stayed undefeated on the season.
The best Georgia football fans’ reactions to the ugly Missouri win
We included the ones excited about the win and those who overreacted during the game. These emotions are great because it shows how passionate Dawg Nation is about their team. We love seeing how much these fans care about this team because we feel the same sentiment.
We are going to lose this game. Pack it up. See ya in 41 more years

Starting off hot, this guy was ready to throw in the towel early, but we feel him on that. It was ugly, and Georgia did nothing but struggle on the offensive side of the ball — in the first half.
Kirby, this is on you.
— Dawggirl (@MelissaRabb1) October 2, 2022
Melissa, thank you for saying this because the Dawgs got it together to win. Another first-half tweet from one of our favorite Georgia fans, but she was right in feeling like head coach Kirby Smart wasn’t doing enough with his team and coaches. Hopefully, Smart saw your tweet and got it together.
nothing humbles you quite like georgia football
— Alyssa Purser (@AlyssaPurser) October 2, 2022
There is only one thing to say about Alyssa’s tweet — Amen.
As if the dawgs weren’t bad enough, now Jensen is closing. I’ve never wanted to drink bleach more in my life
— Henny Papì (@beau_nixon123) October 2, 2022
Another one from Beau, because he was on fire tonight. This tweet didn’t age well because both the Dawgs and the Braves won — thank goodness.
Alright, enough of the negative ones. Let’s focus on the post-game reactions and show what real Georgia fans will do after a tough win like this one.
I watched as many of you panicked tonight after I told you to not to. Many began abandoning ship. Calling for coaches to be fired, criticizing players. (players that secured the Natty) May your fingers be eaten by a swarm of locusts. You’re on double secret probation #GoDawgs
— Wise Dawg (@wiserdawg) October 2, 2022
Wise Dawg nails it with this tweet. So many doubted Georgia, but those who trusted the process, remember this isn’t a Mark Richt squad. This group is coached by someone who is hungry for blood and finds ways to win.
I’m just saying, I remember 8-5 Georgia Football. We would absolutely lose a game like tonight. Times are different now though!
— Anibal Mancia (@AnibalMancia) October 2, 2022
We remember too, and we’re glad Georgia is on the winning side of things now.

The Georgia Paint Line won the meme game with this one because that is how the Georgia Twitter world felt on Saturday night.
Man, my NERVES are shot, but finally getting to see the Victory formation which is my favorite Dawg play. A Win is a Win even if it is an UGLY Win. #GoDAWGS
— JeffH (@jeff_harris9) October 2, 2022
Same Blake. Who cares how it happened as long as that loss column stays the way it is now.
Should Georgia be No. 1? Probably not at the moment. Some serious issues need to be addressed.
— Logan Booker (@LoganMBooker) October 2, 2022
Basically we now get to watch the 2022 Bulldogs grow and get better over time, when we initially thought we got to skip that step.
Bring on Auburn. #GoDawgs
Last on this list is from Damn Good Dawg Logan Booker, as he reminds people that it’s early and the Dawgs will only get better from here —hopefully.
Georgia football wasn’t its best tonight or last week against Kent State, but a win is a win. The Dawgs got a win when they needed to and found a way to do it when the offense was stale all night long. Who cares how it happened? It’s how it ended that matters. These reactions are fun to see, but at the end of the day, we love the Dawgs and are glad to be undefeated and 5-0.
