Star Georgia tight end Brock Bowers gave a glimpse into his great personality at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl media day session.

Brock Bowers isn’t just the best tight end in the country or a human video game code, he’s also got a great personality and knows exactly how to get the press on his side.

While many questions at media day usually revolve around the game, practices, and injuries, Bowers fielded some rather interesting and enlightening questions.

He did manage to encapsulate how he sees the College Football Playoff Semifinal game against the Ohio State Buckeyes and in particular, their defense.

"“Any of those top four teams, they’re big, fast, twitchy dudes. It’s how fast we can react, like I said. We’ll see how they play us this weekend.”"

How was his Christmas break in California, you asked? Well, at least one press corps member did.

"“I had two days off to go back to California for Christmas. It was nice seeing all my family and friends back there.”“It was good. I went back home actually. It was quick, like two days. It was like 60 and sunny. It was awesome. It was like 9 degrees here.”"

The weather? Are we really talking about the weather less than two days before one of the biggest games of the year? Yup.

But the best answers Brock Bowers gave didn’t revolve around the game, his ability, Ohio State’s defense or even the weather in California. They were about his teammate and co-awesome tight end, Darnell Washington.

Bowers was asked what it’s like having a guy with the size and speed of Washington on the field with him to build an offense around.

"“I think most of the offense circles around him because he’s basically a sixth lineman that can run routes and catch balls. He’ll go road grade anybody in front of them, but he can also have the finesse to go in and grab it off someone’s head.”"

And Washington’s ability to put space between the field and himself when running with the ball?

"“I remember I was blocking somebody, and I thought Darnell is going to go down here. He was on the sideline against Oregon. I turned around, and he was up off the ground and over the dude. I did not expect it.”"

I’m sure Darnell would have similar things to say about some of the superhuman things Bowers has done on the field. Needless to say, the Buckeyes will have their hands full with the biggest highlight reel tight end tandem in the country.
