With the Senior and Shrine Bowls just completed and the NFL Combine still on the horizon our attentions now turn to where our Georgia football draft prospects are going to play their football on Sundays next season.

While it may feel a little presumptuous to make way too early NFL Draft predictions, but with National Signing Day and the transfer portal period being over, what else are we football fans to do with our time?

So let’s have an early look at where our two-time National Champion Dawgs may be playing their football on Sundays next season.

57. . DT. Chicago Bears. Jalen Carter. 1. player

I have written about the prospective Georgia first-round draft picks before and I haven’t changed my mind that the Bulldogs’ Jalen Carter will be the first pick off the board by the Chicago Bears in Kansas City on 27th April.

The Bears need a lot of help on the defensive side of the ball and while there will be the temptation to trade out of the No.1 spot I don’t think they will. Chicago has only had the first pick twice before in their long history. Don’t overthink this, Ryan Poles.

Seattle Seahawks. Broderick Jones. 5. player. 36. . OT

In recent drafts, elite offensive line players have flown off the board early in the first rounds – and with good reason. Indianapolis learned a costly lesson when quarterback Andrew Luck retired due to multiple and continued injuries.

So woe betides the team that does not protect their most expensive talent. This is why offensive tackles, and in particular Broderick Jones, will be in high in this year’s draft. Jones is elite and would be a straight plug-and-play in most offensive lines. I still like Seattle with pick No. 5 for Jones, although it is clear the Jets also need his help. Could the Jets trade up?
