Georgia Football is probably playing the most important game it has played during this run. SEC Title is on the line, CFP hopes are on the line, and the dynasty is on the line. Whatever happens, when the dust settles, I will be glad I lived through a time when Georgia was the #1 team for three straight seasons and back-to-back champions.

Alright, enough of the Sunshine Dawg fan stuff. I want this game bad. I want this game more than a national championship; I want this game more than Georgia blowing out Florida. I want it bad.

I am so tired of the Alabama fans talking about our run as a fluke, and injuries only stopped the mighty Crimson Tide. I am so tired of the god-complex Alabama has regarding football. Georgia is the better team, and all Alabama fans say is, “Well, we own y’all in Atlanta.” That is the only comeback they have.  I am sick of it.

I wrote a blog Sunday night saying that Georgia fans should relish this moment and must stop “Munson-ing.” That blog was to fire up the Georgia fans who were scared. Instead, and truthfully, I knew it would happen because I called it out in the blog. But an Alabama site got upset at my blog to Georgia fans!

Bama Hammer, a part of the FanSided family, dedicated an entire blog about it. This proved a few things: one, they fear Georgia, and two, Bama fans have a massive ego. However, I appreciate the shoutout; it is all in good fun, and I also found it humorous. But I have written worst things about other programs.

So, I need Georgia to win so I do not get stuffed in the proverbial locker on Saturday night on social media. Hopefully, Kirby Smart tells the boys that in the locker room before kickoff.

Georgia is simply the better team. Alabama has always had the better offenses in this matchup in the past. But now, Georgia has the better offense. Alabama is what Georgia was like in 2017 or 2018. Georgia is more like Alabama in 2020 and 2021. Which is a very odd thing, but it is true.

Also, give Nick Saban a ton of credit; he has willed this team to an 11-1 record. This team should have at least 2 or 3 losses, but they don’t. Saban has done a great job managing this team. But, going into this game, if Alabama switched uniforms with LSU, Georgia would be an 8- or 10-point favorite.

Many folks say that this matchup does not favor the Dawgs. That is a very casual take, if we are being honest. This is a bad matchup for Alabama. Everyone is worried about the run defense for the Dawgs.

In press conferences, Kirby Smart has even said, “What type of run are you talking about.”  Alabama runs a power run offense, not this gap run scheme that has crushed the Dawgs this year. I would be shocked if Alabama starts doing that in this game. They haven’t done it all season! Why start now?

The QB is something to worry about, but Alabama rarely designs quarterback runs. Better yet, they use it, but not as often as you think. Milroe is a great playmaker with his legs; he can scramble really well. But that is not going to kill the Georgia defense. Again, Milroe is a great playmaker, not a great QB. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Georgia offensively will have their hands full, but this Bama defense is susceptible to a good quarterback and passing game. What does Georgia do well? I have a gut feeling that Carson Beck will have a really good game. I just feel it.

Speaking of gut feelings, I have the same feeling I had in the 2022 national championship in Indianapolis. Anybody that would listen to me back then knows what I said immediately after the SEC Championship. Georgia was three plays away from tying that game or winning it.

When I was in Indianapolis for the game, my gut kept telling me, “It is time.” My gut is telling me the same thing this week. It is just time. It is finally time for all the reasons why Kirby Smart was brought in as Georgia’s head coach. It is time to kill off the Alabama dynasty.

With this win, the Dawgs would stop Alabama from winning a national championship in three years. It would be over at that point. Either the Dawgs or Time will beat this dynasty, and the Dawgs have the best chance to do it now.

Just because the game’s location is in Atlanta and we are playing Alabama does not mean that the Dawgs’ superpowers get taken away. I know Alabama fans think that way because that is the only reason they can win this game. Of course, it is in my mind because I am a “little-stitious,” but I am not superstitious.

The Dawgs are the better team, and if they win this game, they are on their way to a date with history. But I know how hard it can be to do what the Dawgs are trying to do; it has never been done. So, any outcome would not shock me.

But I feel good about the Dawgs chances. The Dawgs win 42-24. Yeah, they win by that much! I have been wrong a lot, but I have a gut feeling, and I cannot ignore my gut. It has rarely let me down in this type of situation.

We will soon find out in about 24 hours. Until then, I will see you on the other side regardless of what happens. I feel like I am part of the orchestra on the Titanic; I am going down with the ship no matter what. Dawgs on top 42-24!

Hot. One last ride for this era of College Football. light
