3 bold predictions for Georgia football vs. No. 1 Texas
It’s almost time. The game that will dictate how the rest of Georgia’s season will go is almost here. A win and the Georgia dynasty continues, but a loss and UGA will struggle just to make the College Football Playoffs this season.
I don’t know about you, but for some reason I am more nervous for this game than any other so far this season. But that won’t stop me from giving out my three boldest predictions once again this week.
Let’s just hope I do better than last week’s edition.
1. Georgia defense sacks the quarterback three times
Last week I predicted Georgia to record five sacks against Mississippi State. What ended up happening? UGA had zero.
I just have to make up for that terrible prediction by once again trying to make my best guess at how many sacks, if any, Georgia will have this week.
The bad news for me is that Texas has only allowed six sacks so far this season. That however won't stop me from being bold enough to predict three sacks from the Georgia defense this week.
I hope I'm not jinxing the Georgia defense by making this prediction again, but just in case I am I promise I won't predict sacks for the rest of the season if UGA ends with zero once again. But I just don't see that happening two games in a row.
So be sure to track total sacks closely, because Georgia will have a great chance at winning this game if they do record at least three.
