Georgia football is ready to take on Tennessee in their first SEC game of the season. Everything is on the line as the winner will immediately become one of the favorites to win the SEC. The loser on the other hand will have a tough time just making it to Atlanta in the first place.

In order for Georgia to come away victorious, they need these three Bulldogs to have the games of their lives on Saturday.

QB Gunner Stockton

The version of Gunner Stockton that everyone saw against Austin Peay last weekend will not be good enough against Tennessee. Georgia can't afford for Stockton to have a zero touchdown performance and to continue to show unwillingness to throw the deep ball.

Stockton also has to be a leader off the field for UGA as well to help make everyone around him better. That is what Georgia fans saw in the SEC Championship game when the entire team rallied around him during their second half comeback against Texas, so that is what UGA needs from Stockton along with an unreal performance on the field as well.

WR Zachariah Branch

To go along with an impressive performance from Stockton, he needs his top wide receiver to have a big game as well. Zachariah Branch shined in his Georgia debut as he led the team in receptions and receiving yards. This past weekend was polar opposite though as he only hauled in three receptions for 17 yards.

The Bulldogs need Branch to get back to the version they saw during their first game of the season if they want a chance against Tennessee. The Volunteers will be without their top two corners on Saturday, so that should help Branch get loose.

DL Elijah Griffin

It's time for Elijah Griffin to shine when the lights are brightest. The five-star defensive lineman has gotten off to a slow start to his Georgia career as he has recorded just four tackles and zero sacks through two games. No one expected him to dominate from the moment he stepped onto the field, but expectations were higher than this.

Georgia in reality needs every defender to play well to help stop the Tennessee offense that is firing on all cylinders so far this season, but their success on Saturday starts with the big boys up front. The Bulldogs need to stop the run and put pressure on Tennessee's quarterback all night long if they want to win this game. So who better to dominate on this big of a stage than Georgia's next great defensive lineman.
