2. Starting fast on offense

Georgia having overall slow starts in a lot of their games this year has been a problem discussed in length all season long. Unfortunately that conversation has to continue becuase the Bulldogs still haven't found a way to start games fast.

The UGA defense has been doing an excellent job at starting fast, and that was seen last weekend during their win against Texas. But the Georgia offense is yet to figure out how to start fast themseleves.

Georgia is yet to find themseleves with a huge lead by the end of the first quarter, other than the Tennessee Tech game which doesn't really count. Now I'm not suggessting that Georgia needs to be up by 14 points at the end of the first quarter each week, but it would be nice if they were able to do that occassionally.

But the thing the offense can't keep doing is having horrific starts. Turnovers, three and outs, and just complete miscues to start the game have to stop. Eventually there will be another team that will take advantage of those miscues like Alabama did, which is the main reason Georgia lost that game.

So if Georgia wants to win a national championship this season, they need to learn how to start fast on offense and defense simultaneously.
