Georgia football just finished knocking off the No. 1 team in the country on the road with their 30-15 win over the Texas Longhorns.

Georgia controlled the game all night long, and even though Texas made it interesting early in the second half, the Bulldogs did not miss a beat and closed the game out strong on both sides of the ball. And to make this win that much better, it was Kirby Smart's 100th of his career.

I have a million takeaways from this game I could share, but here are the top three that come to mind immediately after this game.

1. Georgia's win is extra impressive because of the ref show

The events that we all saw during the third quarter may have been the wildest (and potentially most unfair) sequence of events I have ever seen.

You all know what I am referring to. Carson Beck threw an interception in the third quarter that was negated due to defensive pass interference being called. But then, while Texas fans caused a delay in the game after throwing trash on the field, the officials got together, picked up the flag, and allowed the interception to stand.

Texas then scored two plays later to trim the Bulldogs lead to 23-15.

While I have so many issues with what just happened there, the awesome thing to see from Georgia's perspective is that they didn't let it impact them. Those were the last points UGA's defense gave up in the game. The Georgia offense also marched down the field the very next drive and put up seven points of their own.

So with the Texas crowd back into the game, and the officials clearly favoring the Longhorns, Georgia didn't flinch and finished the game strong with their backs against the wall.
