Spring is right around the corner, and that means Georgia football is close to making their return to the field for one short month this offseason. Spring practice is always an exciting time in Athens because Georgia fans will finally start to learn some details about next year's team.
Who is trending in the quarterback battle that will take place all offseason? How are the transfers adjusting to their new surroundings? Who has improved the most compared to last year?
All of these questions will be answered this spring, which is why spring is such an exciting time at Georgia. On top of that, Georgia's annual Pro Day and Spring Game are right around the corner as well.
In fact, Kirby Smart and Georgia announced all three of these dates on Friday, and they thankfully aren't too long from now.
3 important Georgia football spring dates
First Spring Practice - March 11
Georgia Pro Day - March 12
Georgia Spring Game - April 12
Georgia not following trend of cancelling Spring Game
The first spring practice is always a welcomed site from Georgia football fans, and Georgia's Pro Day is also a fun event as well. But out of these three events, the one Georgia fans look forward to the most is the Spring Game.
Many teams throughout the country are cancelling their Spring Games this year including Texas, USC and Nebraska in fear of other programs finding new players to convince to enter the transfer portal. So some UGA fans felt that Georgia should follow suit as well.
But the vast majority of Georgia fans did not want this to occur because this is their only chance to see Georgia before they take the field later this fall. So thankfully Georgia is not cancelling their Spring Game as it will officially be held on April 12.
The game will be aired on TV as well, but a time and channel is yet to be announced. But that information will come eventually, so for now Georgia fans can celebrate that they will once again be able to pack Sanford Stadium to get their first look at the 2025 Georgia Bulldogs.
