The biggest game of the year for Georgia football is almost here. The Bulldogs have a chance to make up for their loss earlier this season to Alabama by beating a stronger team in No. 1 Texas on the road.

Kirby Smart and his team will have their hands full, but I am confident that they can get it done. And in order to do just that, here are my three keys for Georgia to pull off the upset against Texas on Saturday.

1. Make Texas one-dimensional on offense

Texas is one of the few teams in the country who is extremely effective both in the running game and passing game. If the Longhorns are able to move the ball efficiently both through the air and on the ground then I don't think Georgia will stand a chance.

So they are going to have to choose if they want to take away the Longhorns' run game or pass game.

The Longhorns' passing attack is ranked No. 11 in the country while their run game is only No. 40. So based on that alone I think it will be wise to try and stop the passing game.

Putting an extra emphasis on slowing down their passing game will really help take the pressure off of Georgia's secondary which has been a weakness all season. So I think UGA needs to mix timely blitzes with dropping extra guys in coverage to confuse Quinn Ewers and the Texas receivers.

Keeping them on their toes in this way will make it tough to get any sort of momentum going through the air. All Georgia then has to hope for is that this doesn't allow Texas to run all over the UGA defense instead.
